The Three Best Locations for Banh Mi in Mississauga

Freshly baked bread filled with savoury meats and veggies from traditional Vietnamese cuisine? Mmmmm, I’m hungry just thinking about it! If you, too, are now craving a banh mi, then I’ve got you covered! Here’s where to go in Mississauga for the best banh mi around.

You can do takeout and delivery from the following Vietnamese restaurants during your stay with us, and enjoy some delicious food in the comforts of your own suite. Once Mississauga enters Stage 3 of re-opening Ontario due to the COVID-19 pandemic,  you will be able to dine-in at these five fabulous locations.

Banh Mi Ba Le (1125 Dundas St. E., Suite 4, Mississauga)

From the first bite to the last, Banh Mi Ba Le’s banh mi will keep you satisfied! Tucked away on the side of a strip mall, the shop’s menu offerings including authentic Vietnamese cuisine ingredients. Always fresh, the restaurant’s banh mi features a proper meat to bun ratio, crisp veggies and a famous ketchup sauce. Request extra parsley to make your meal extra tasty!

Although I highly recommend the banh mi, many other Vietnamese dishes and desserts are also available. With friendly, helpful staff and fair prices, the experience at Banh Mi Ba Le is hard to beat!

Nguyet Minh Lo Banh Mi (888 Dundas St. E. Mississauga)

This small family-run shop has everything you want when you’re craving banh mi! Nguyet Minh Lo Banh Mi’s freshly baked, authentic Vietnamese baguettes include all the fixings and typically cost less than $3.50 each. Try the satay chicken banh mi – guaranteed to excite your taste buds! Vietnamese snacks and sweets, steamed sausage (lap xiong) and sticky rice are also available for purchase.

Banh Mi Tan Dinh (3415 Dixie Rd. Mississauga)

Once you stumble across this tiny shop, you’ll be happy you did! Served on freshly baked Vietnamese baguettes in-house, the restaurant’s banh mi will make your mouth water and doesn’t cost a fortune.

Featuring plenty of cilantro, thick cucumber slices and tangy carrots, the sandwich also includes a flavourful mayo pâté spread. The fish banh mi or extra spicy assorted are two of my favourites although you really can’t go wrong with any of their options.

A friendly husband and wife team own the restaurant and are known for their attentive, helpful service. Besides banh mi, try the shop’s famous dai bao and Vietnamese rice desserts. Their steamrolls are also amazing, but are only available on certain days of the week.

With its central location in the city’s core, Platinum Suites is located close to many of the above restaurants.  Pre-book a stay at our furnished apartments for rent in Mississauga and experience some of the best banh mi around!
