Summer may be over, but the festivities at Celebration Square are still very much underway!
Over the following month, three different cultural events are happening at Celebration Square: Viet Summer Fest, Dragon Lion Dance Festival and Diwali RazzMatzz – Canada Diwali.

Viet Summer Fest – Saturday, September 15 (3:00pm – 7:00pm)
Attracting thousands of people from the GTA and surrounding areas, Viet Summer Fest is an annual event that celebrates the best of Vietnamese culture.
From traditional folk music to various dance and live performances, expect an experience of Vietnamese culture unlike any other! Featuring fun for the whole family, this one day afternoon event will definitely keep everyone entertained.
The Dragon Lion Dance Festival – Saturday, September 22 (3:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
The Dragon Lion Dance Festival is an exciting one-day cultural festival that’s eagerly anticipated all summer long! Created with the collaboration of Kung Fu Canada Association, The Mississauga Mandarin Association and the Hebei Association of Canada, this event showcases the wonders of China.
Conventionally performed to celebrate Chinese New Year, the traditional dance highlighted throughout this cultural event involves elaborately dressed performers who mimic the movements of a dragon. The festival celebrates everything wonderful about Chinese culture including Kung-Fu and Tai-Chi demonstrations, Dragon and Lion dances, mass drumming routines, dancing, singing, Chinese instruments and lucky draws.

Diwali RazzMatazz – Canada Diwali – Friday, October 12 (5:00 pm – 11:00 pm) and Saturday, October 13 (12:00 pm – 11:00 pm)
